FISHER X-100-3 (1964) - Full Custom cabinet
The cabinet for the integrated tube amplifier FISHER X-100-6 was custom-made for an Italian customer. The intention of the client was to give the relatively simple-looking but elegant, classic look for the device.
The cabinet is made of solid, homogeneous birch plywood, 15 mm thick, with the necessary millings for the edges of the front panel of the device. The amplifier is placed in it by inserting it from the front. Due to the contact mating, it does not require additional interlocks.
In the upper, rear part of the cabinet, there is a ventilation grill made of perforated aluminum sheet finished with black, mat acrylic lacquer.
The cabinet is covered with a modified wooden AMARANTO Decor veneer with a characteristic wavy pattern and amber color. The finish is a hard oil wax with an additional coating in the form of polished, hygrophobic hard wax, hygrophobic.
The cabinet stands on four feet, 40 mm in diameter and 25 mm high, specially machined from solid brass.
